How to Access Books

You can choose any books you like to count towards your Summer Reading Challenge or Winter Mini Challenge. Fact, fiction, poetry, graphic novels, joke books - the choice is yours! eBooks and audiobooks count too, so you can read wherever and however you like!

You can find heaps of brilliant books to read through your local library or bookshop - you can even order or borrow books online.

Borrowing books from your library

You can borrow books, eBooks and audiobooks to enjoy for free from your local library. Visit the Library Zone and use our handy search to find library services in your area. Choose your nearest service and follow the link to their website, where you can find out more about joining and visiting your local library. You'll also be able to find information on your library's e-lending services, so you can borrow books while you're at home.

Libraries offer lots of books in digital formats. If you're a library member already, you can go directly to e-book lenders and sign in with your library information. Visit your local library website to find out more about borrowing books online.

The RNIB Library

The RNIB Library is completely free, with over 45,000 items including audiobooks, braille books and braille music resources. It's open to a wide range of people who might have sight loss or print impairment issues. You can browse their catalogue online and register to join the RNIB Library.

Libby

Libby is the library reading app by OverDrive used by millions of readers every day to access free ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics and more... all free from their library. Simply download the Libby app, enter your library card and start reading!

Bookshop.org - Supporting local bookshops

Bookshop.org is an online bookshop with a mission to financially support local, independent bookshops. Choose your next book from the booklists on The Reading Agency's affiliate page to support us while shopping at no extra cost.

LoveReading4Kids - Funding new books for schools

The Reading Agency have teamed up with LoveReading4Kids so you can shop our booklists while giving 25% of money spent to schools in need. You can purchase books via LoveReading4Kids to fund new books for schools. 25% of money spent can be donated to a school close to the buyer's heart, or to schools in need.
